Buyer Protection services are provided by Cüte for a fee in every purchase made with the "Buy now" button.
Buyer Protection Fee Calculation:
Tier 1 - Items under R$ 500:
- • A fixed amount of R$ 5.00, and
- • 10% of the item's price (including VAT)
Example: For a R$ 100 item: R$ 5.00 + R$ 10.00 = R$ 15.00 protection fee
Tier 2 - Items R$ 500 to R$ 2000:
- • A fixed amount of R$ 5.00, and
- • 6% of the item's price (including VAT)
Example: For a R$ 1,000 item: R$ 5.00 + R$ 60.00 = R$ 65.00 protection fee
Tier 3 - Items over R$ 2000:
- • A fixed amount of R$ 5.00, and
- • 3% of the item's price (including VAT)
Example: For a R$ 5,000 item: R$ 5.00 + R$ 150.00 = R$ 155.00 protection fee
Note: For consumers, VAT is included. For Pro Users, reverse charge VAT applies.
1. Fees payable by Buyers
1.1 Item Verification Service
R$ 10This is an optional service which the Buyer can choose to purchase when buying an item on Cüte.
The service fee for any item is R$ 10, and Buyers will see it on the item page. The fee consists of a verification service fee and shipping costs from the Seller to the hub.
1.2 Electronics Verification Service
R$ 5This is an optional service which the Buyer can choose to purchase when buying an item on Cüte.
The service fee for any item is R$ 5, and Buyers will see it on the item page. The fee consists of a verification service fee and shipping costs from the Seller to the hub.
2. Fees payable by Sellers
Both Sellers and Pro Sellers can improve the visibility of items by opting for the following services:
2.1 Bumping Listed Items
The Fee for Bumping Listed Items will vary depending on the chosen duration, item price and the chosen territorial scope (local or international). Any applicable VAT charged will be included in the price shown at checkout.
Available durations: 3 or 7 calendar days
The selected Bump duration and respective applicable fee will be shown to you at the time of payment.
2.2 Wardrobe Spotlight
The applicable fee and Spotlight duration will be shown to you at checkout and you will receive an email with a purchase confirmation to your registered email.
